How I handle your information
Last updated 22 September 2026. This notice explains what personal information this website collects and what happens to it, in line with South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
Who is responsible

What I collect
- What you send through the enquiry forms: your name, email address, company or product, the type of enquiry, what’s driving it, your timeline and your message.
- Anonymous usage statistics, such as pages visited and buttons clicked, collected without cookies and without identifying you.
- Anything you send by email.
The site does not use cookies for tracking or advertising. The systems check and the contractor console demo both run entirely in your browser and send nothing.
Why I collect it
To reply to your enquiry, arrange a call, and prepare a scope or quote if you ask for one. Anonymous statistics help me see which pages are useful. I don’t sell or share your information for marketing.
Who processes it
- Form messages are delivered to my inbox by Web3Forms, a form delivery service.
- Anonymous usage statistics are processed by Umami, a cookieless analytics service.
- Email is handled by my email hosting provider.
Some of these services process information outside South Africa.
How long I keep it
Enquiries that don’t lead to work are deleted within 12 months. Client records are kept as long as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information I hold about you, or object to how it is used, by emailing julian@stanleydesign.co.za. You can also complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.
